Problem is, oven goes to 415 on preheat. On door put boolits in and temp never gets over 360 and the drops to 340.

My cut off propane tank handles 200 pounds with room to spare at the top.

I don't use the top punch set screws. I put a dab of grease on the top punch and seat it by running into the sizer die.
Haven't used the set screws in over 30 years.

Why put it into ingots? Easier to store in my casting shed until I make my next batch of alloy for casting.

Geezer my pot is plenty wide, bottom half of a 20 pound propane tank. The folded sinks are about 24X18.

The pot is well over 700 degrees (thermometer), and I have fluxed the poop out of it and the colors show as soon as air hits the surface.

I do get some dross to skim after fluxing.

Smelting down some Linotype I scored. First 2 pots went great. The third pot got Blues, Greens, Brass and some red.
