GFS has a decent canned gravy, but it is a big can. Of course, I've only had it after we put a bunch of meatloaf drippings in it.

I use a toaster oven and always preheat. I don't know if it makes a difference or not. I was just following Smokes directions.

IIRC the Henry won't handle Ruger only, T/C Contender loads. I'd stick with the 45 cowboy loads.

Frank, thanks for that video. I didn't know that there was anything like that out there. I knew that you could modify the 1911 mags to fit the Hi Point but then they wouldn't work in the 1911.

I've been looking for a Marlin Camp but no luck or the price was way too much.

Still waiting for some one to come out with a PC Carbine in the 45ACP that uses the 1911 mag. I sure hope that Ruger does it soon. I'd of had a Hi Point if it took that mag. already.

I found out that mine had shown up a few days ago and I picked it up Sunday. Now to get a chance to get out and do some casting tomorrow.
