Coat them and shoot them. No need for anything else. I can't speak for tub coating. I always spray on a clean boolit. I soak mine in acetone let them dry and coat. Never had a problem.

Most 457 molds throw 459 or 460. At least all I have owned. Crimp on the check at the first sizing. 457-458 ? Powder coat and size again 457-458 . Your ready to go.

I find that two cavity molds are faster but throw different weight boolits. I find myself using only one cavity. I shoot paper more than game .
