I have my own swage press (Corbin, Sea Girt) and a lathe so I make my own bump dies from 7/8" x 14 threaded rod. I have bumped up some 45 Colt bullets at .452- 250 Gr. to 460 to fit a 45-70 and use...
Started off years ago with Lyman, then Lee but Accurate and NOE are very good and all that I buy now.

Looks to me like a "take off" of the old Herters core cutter. They work wonderfully!

I don't believe that you can go wrong with the Uberti / Cimarron rifles and pistols. I have Model "P" revolvers in 357 and 44-40. Also 5 rifles in either 38-55, 45-60 and 44-40. No problems as they...

John Taylor relined my 1892 in 25-20 and you cannot tell it was a relined job. Now it shoots great! No regrets!
I too had a T-Mag that flexed and got rid of it. Now have 2 Reddings, model T-7s and love them. Pricey but very strong and smooth. I leave them set up with my favorite calibers I shoot.

Depending on the caliber and size of HP, you might look at 'Air Soft' ammo at you local Wal-Mart.
I've experimented with them to make light 6 mm bullets.

I believe and what works for me is consistency in using the press, being cam-over or stopping short of that point. I started out 30 years ago with Blackmons BSSP dies and press with much success...
