I'll work on getting the pins nice and clean tonight. I'm certain they were all brass. I processed all of them on my Lyman case prep center.

When I tumble with dry media and some polish, they shine up a little bit ...BUT... When I use the thumbler with stainless media, they dull to a drab green color. How do I get them back to nice, shiny...

General rule of thumb to anneal brass is...red hot.

No, no, no....I am cutting brass to use as jackets for swaging bullets using BT's dies. I am looking for the fastest and best way to cut a lot of pistol brass to specific lengths.

There was no load present. It was an empty test dummy piece of brass.

I just started making some soft lead tip 224 bullet using BT's dies and I went to load one into an empty case last night...the die crushes the lead tip. Do I need to get a specific bullet seating die?
