I put my powder coat curing oven in one of my fireplaces, no smell, easy to set up and take down. My wife can use the other if she wants a fire.

With that much powder coat thickness, you better gave GOOD adhesion or the rifling will strip off the PC. Why not buy a Lee Makarov mold (under $20) and only coat once?

Having done a lot of welding in my life I would recommend one WITHOUT POCKETS, which tend to catch hot flying metal.

I got it to look better by spraying then spraying a second coat of clear over the baked on copper color.

give the wife the new one and take her old one like I did = win/win solution?

Long before the NOE version was available, I made my own out old an old 22-250 sizing die. I bored a 9/16 (+.002) diameter hole in it 1 inch deep. It is mounted upside down in a HF $50 press with a...
I am more than a little skeptical about 1.5 gr of BE in an AR15. I load 2.3 gr to shoot in my Handi which is a great load, but 2.3 gr will not even unlock the bolt in my AR.

Mine gets more powder coated lead over 6 grn of Unique for the grand kids than anything else. No resizing required B4 reloading!

No GC's as post said I am around 1950 fps.

I shoot the Lee 311-155 both PC'd and lubed. Same load for both, only diff is smoke with the lubed ones.

I shoot (almost exclusively) Lee 312-155's ESPC'd in my 300 BO,shoot it them over 1680 at 1950 fps, very accurate.
A picture of my ESPC coated Lee 312-155 boolit with nose masked so bore rider will load into my 300BO. The boolit is coated by inserting into a scrap case then ESPC coating and curing base up. This...

I do both ways. If the GC doesn't fit tight, I put it on after PC then size. If the GC fits tight, I put it on before PC then size after PC. Can't tell the difference in accuracy.
This is all I shoot in mine, shoots well over 1680 and is very accurate at 1950 fps.

I have been using Dupont Multi-use Teflon Lubricant (both spray and liquid) for several years, it goes on wet and the solvent evaporates leaving the teflon which works it's way into the pores and...
I shoot a 55 gr PC GC lead boolit over 2.5 grains if Bulls Eye. The load is very accurate and chrono's at 1050 fps out of a H&R 223 Handi rifle. I don't resize the brass just dump it in the brass...

I have never seen a jword bullet with grooves and they seem to work for me!? I shoot only grooved and PCed boolits because they work and I can't justify buying new molds based on looks.

2 thousand through my High Point 4595 and 4 thousand through my High Point 995. No problems yet.

Have you tried pushing the boolit through the die base first to seat the check? Works for me. I have a machine shop in my basement to make my own sizing dies and pushers, tolerance and fit of the...

I have used a lot of Psyco Lime from Prismatic as well as many of their other powders, they all have worked great but all of my experience with it is using ESPC. The color is a lot brighter than...
I have had great success with Lee 312-155 started with that and have tried others but always have gone back. Shooting 4227, getting 1950 fps with powder coated COWW. Groups are about an inch to 1 1/2...

I thought about this and have spare bullet feeders I could use, but then I thought about feeding the bullet feeder tube would be as much time as feeding the bullets into the press. I would have to...
