It's just a big slab of brown alox, nothing else. can that without BW be a good lube?

a couple years ago I bought a slab of Alox from some company, not LEE, just wondering if a straight Alox lube wood work on say velocitys 1200-1500fps ?

I guess what I reallymint was I whated to make the Lyman #2 into something more in the 9-10 bhn range.
that make any cents? So how much pure lead do I need add to the Lyman to get it down that...

I have a good supply of Lyman #2 which on my tester shows 14 BHN but I feel that that hardness is to great for my kind of shooting, which is schuetzen we shoot plan base bullets at about 1300-1550...
