When storing brass, I include a dessicant pack (I save them from medicine bottles, etc...). Seems to help.

Another factor is resale value. Carbide dies hold their value much better than do steel dies.

Carbide does cost more, but your net cost of ownership is normally cheaper.

I scrounged some plastic 1 gal. large mouth jars at a nearby pizza takeout. Seems that pizza sauce & some of the toppings come in them.

I measured the seating depth for a 30BR and sized cases. Need to tidy up my reloading bench, as usual.

RCBS are fine. I also like Redding.

hard to beat the older model, made in USA, RCBS Rockchucker. Easy to obtain & well-built.

I have done both internal reaming & outside neck turning. I prefer to outside neck turn. I use a Pumpkin made by Don Nielson. PMA & K&M are also very good.

Since I rarely trim over a 100 cases at a time I'm not trimming with power - all manual. I use a Wilson trimmer with the micrometer adjustment.
Using their case holder system I know I'm trimming...

.270 to 25-06 when 25-06 brass was unobtainable.

Consider keeping/ storing it. You seems to really care about the hobby. Time issues may improve as some time passes by. Things change.
