its not the powder clogging up your breech plug, its the primers. You can fire half a dozen primers by themselves and clean out the same mess.

Yes sir! Very accurate guns indeed. Bed the barrel, trigger and tang, you got one hell of a rock solid set up.

Traditions St.Louis Hawken ( Kit Gun I did years ago ) .54cal 1:48 twist, 70gr 3fg Gearhart-Owen, .020" patches, .530" round balls @ 50 yards.

its a quality control issue on the forearm. The entire barrel was built off center too.
