Got my GM .22 rifle barrel yesterday and the exterior finish is so smooth it's ready to blue without any work! GM always does a nice job on exterior finish, but this one is really over the top!

Not that tough to find, especially if somebody bought a gun chambered in it and was looking for ammo. Unless somebody did a lawyer written warning stamped on the barrel it's not that obscure to find....

For your barrel/cartridge I'd consider a .32-20, .32 S&W Long, or a .38 Special. All great choices, although my prejudice would be towards the .32-20 chamber!
