Good news. The wood one Ruglin makes has checkering. I'm guessing it's pressed not cut but who knows? It's the only thing wrong with that model in my opinion. Checkering looks silly on a lever...

If you get a Henry, be advised the "blued" receivers are regular metal covered with a painted facade and the Golden Boy has a "brasslite" receiver ... it's merely plated white metal, not brass.

The .312 mold was lost by my Post Office it seems. I refunded the buyer in full. I sent him a message explaining such and asked him to pay again if it magically shows up. The JHPs are on their way...
