I took an expander plug out of another set of dies that measured the correct .323 . I Neck sized and loaded some with Lee 324-175 8mm bullets. They look like they will work fine.

I believe the rifle is a Swedish Rolling block. I had it out this afternoon and shot it a few times.
No real testing just yet. I’m going to neck size the cases I have and shoot it some more.

I neck sized a few last night . I’m going out after lunch today and try them. The cases I have say 8x56RS . I’ll report how they shoot.

I have cases , Lee dies and and some 8mm bullets both commercial cast and some I cast. I slugged the bore it’s .323 . The dies appear to open the case mouths to .329.

I have one in 35. Killed a big buck with in 2022. Just a fun gun. I also shoot the RCBS 200 grain in it.

I use a lot of it. In the 357 and my 44 mag cast loads.
I also use in in my 30-06 with cast bullets . It a lot like Unique.

I own both a Marlin in 35 Remington and a JES rebore Remington 725 in 35 Whalen. Both great cast bullet guns. I shot mostly the RCBS 200 flat nose

I use a turkey cooker and a 20 pound LP tank.
I set it outside the shop door. I put an 8in square iron plate on it so not to warp the mold.
Put it on low and set the mold on it. Works good

I tapped the peep sight hole in mine. A sight aperture spins in no problem.
Mine is a Remington. With .311 bullets and that sight it shoots really well.

I love hunting with it.

RCBS. I have it mounted on an oak 2by4. I put the 2by4in the vise to use it. Then set it on the shelf until I need it again. I do the same thing with Lube Sizers

I have one that’s been fitting with a plastic stock. Seems odd.
I wonder if it’d worth fitting it with a wood stock?

I also have one in 32-20 . Great fun only ever shot mine with cast .

I forget to mention the rifle is a US model 1917 made by Remington.

I use it a lot. In the 30-06 I like 13.5 grains. With a 200 grain Bullet. I shot a lot of reduced loads with it in 44 mag handguns.
