I have this press and like it very much for neck sizing, bullet seating and comparator work. I do not FL size anything so I cant comment on its power but I cant picture myself cranking on the handle....

It was sold by Herters. It also came with a ram extension.

My father loves the old Herters stuff and wanted a more precise way to control bullet seat depth. He ordered a Redding micrometer seating stem for a 204 ruger to seat his 22-250 bullets. We had to...

It is a clone marked "JJ Nagy" but has a nice click action and drops accurate. I went with the RCBS tubes because I like to dump into a pan and I just hold the pan tight to the bottom on the drop...

I turned a small piece of aluminum to hold my #55 in a redding stand. I also made it accept RCBS extended drop tubes. It is held in the stand with 2 small set screws....

Picked up a couple Star BM's cheap and decided to make one a project. I've never done anything like this so it was fun and scary at the same time. I decided to change the front and rear sights to a...

So I cast the die tonight and am having trouble figuring out what it is. From all the SAAMI drawings I have searched I think it may be a wildcat of some sort. Can anyone help me out?...

I picked this up awhile back and only bought it because it was different. Not positive what caliber it is even for. A 270 fits it ok, a 30-30 goes in but the rim thickness makes it hard to get in and...

Has anyone ever cast a reloading die with cerrosafe to find what caliber it was made for? I have a few sizing dies that are unmarked and was curious if this was an option. I don't have a ton of...

I have formed a few of these by just running once fired 30 carbine cases into an RCBS 5.7 Johnson die using sizing wax.

Herters also made a similar die and its usually cheaper then the Vickerman and RCBS. They pop up on ebay every now and then. Herters Automatic reloading dies.

I really like my old Herters PP swager. Ive used the rcbs one that goes in the press and it was a pain to use compared to the the Herters. The Herters I can just tip the case off of the nipple and on...

It was the crimp when I was having that problem. I had to get a Lee FCD. My redding dies would would do that if I seated and crimped at the same time.
