im loading some 308 boolits and the nose of the boolits has a ring on it from the seating stem crushing the roundish nose profile. this happen to you guys, how was the accuracy on the "ringed" rounds.

never needed it really. the seater die does it all for me. i dont crimp the rifle rounds either and just have the crimper in its box for years.

i do not know what im doing wrong. ive used brand new hulls with primers and reloaded them. some of the loads would go poof and you could actually see the slug hitting the paper. its not loud at all...

the 4lb container has half of it full of powder

i do not have a lee pot. i was thinking about getting one and if this would work, it just adds another reason for me to buy it.

the pot already has a fine enough drizzle. all we need is to flow that drizzle onto an angled surface, then dropping that in some water or coolant.

the seating die can be set to crimp and seat. it can be done without shaving lead. if you want to seat and then crimp with the seating die, you could do that as well.

holy moly. this thread has so much so win. i was looking for something like this and its new. i didint know you could do that with a 1911 either. ill consider both.

only cbc cases are tight as heck and the boolits never seat fully for me. it still fires though.
