What about velocity? How fast is too much?

Is it safe to shoot powder coated boolits in my HK P30? I have several pounds of lead wheel weights I can cast up, but I'm leary if It will foul my barrel.

Our local wally used to carry all kinds of powder. I still have some SR-7625 priced at $3.63 a can. Of course, that was a few years ago!

Do you have the skills to buy a kit and put it together? Don't go cheap on a flintlock. Get a kit with a L&R lock, or a Jim Chambers. Chambers are the best.

I use a RCBS 5-10. There is no need to go to the 10-10 unless you need to weigh over 500 grains. I also use a Lyman powder dribbler in conjunction to get the weight exact when I need to.

I can't verify the weight, but it's at least 20 lbs, #6 shot. PM me and we can work a deal.

I haven't cast any boolits in a coon's age. I also used to reload for shooting skeet. I have around 25 lbs. of lead shot, and wonder how well it works for boolits?

I use beeswax to flux my lead. One caution I would mention, is some woods can give off toxic fumes, such as purple heart.

If you look at the load charts, HP-38 and W231 have exactly the same charge weight, velocity, and CUP. Yes, they are the same powder under different labels.
