I bought one of CMP’s Expert Garands with the Criterion 308 barrel a couple of years ago. Very nice shooter. Check yours to see if it has the Criterion barrel or if it has the chamber insert.

I found a set of grips on Amazon at at fair price. Should arrive in 6-7 days. Much quicker than Thailand!

Great ideas guys. I’ll give them a try. My main concern is the outside being sticky . I cleaned all the inside off ( it’s still gummy though ).

I sent Doug a Ruger NMBH 45 Colt cylinder that would group 5 shots and throw 1 shot a few inches out. After his magic it now consistently groups all 6 shots!

Adam, I’m shooting cast bullets with a mould I got from Accurate Moulds. It’s a 140 grain plain base. Still working up loads now.
