Pickett, the HI-TEK bullets are 5 or 6 months old, while the PC bullets I shot the same day I cast them. Do you think that could make a big difference in accuracy?

HI-TEK, what is the shelf life of the product? It would be nice to be able to buy a big supply and store it for 4 or 5 years.

With the lighter bullets you can keep the velocity up but still have light recoil. Also, you get more bullets per pound of lead with the lighter bullets, which is nice if you shoot alot.

Solo 1000 seems to work well with 40 cal lead bullets. That is what I'm using in IPSC and IDPA. Smokes less than tight group.

I tried Rooster Jacket over LLA and it worked well for me. It definitely made the bullets less sticky than straight LLA. That is what I used until I got a star sizer.
