I was just on Lee's site, and they are still showing the push through sizing kits. No mention of discontinuing them. They are even available on Amazon.

I have just for sh!%s and giggles. Only real reason I can imagine is for shooting bare balls in a smoothbore. I did it for fun and quickly identifying different sizes by color.

If you want to find out wether or not you'll enjoy it, I would recomend a Pedersoli. A really cheap flintlock is not going to be enjoyable for anyone.

That is an awesome rifle for your first flintlock. Should make your learning curve a very enjoyable ride.:D

If you are powder coating it makes no difference.

Looks like the muzzleloading flintlocks will be getting more workouts. Thankfully I stocked up on some black powder, which has also been in a bit of a shortage as of late. Goex will hopefully be...

Looks like a good bullet for 303 Brit type calibers. That's a long way down to 30 cal.

Not sure when this trend of every appliance being junk started. Washer and dryer set we got in the early 90's lasted over 20 years. Picked up an extra fridge for garage beer and such about ten...

I got to try one load but didn't have time to chronograph. I used 14 grians and jword surplus 148 gr. in my M-39. Set my sights at 400 shooting at 50yds. Very mild and just hit the bottom of my...
