Has anyone tried zinc plating cast boolits? Did it work? Did it provide any beneficial results? What were the results?

I have quite a bit of zinc kicking around and am considering giving it a go....

Lee 200 grain 309 mould, hornady crimp on gas checks. Approximately 5% tin. Small amount of antimony. Ladle poured.

I cast more boolits. Lol, perfect boolits. Oh and learned what happens when your sprue plate gets loose.

I am not sold on powder coating myself. Hesitant to run it, but probably shouldn’t be, I shoot j bullets by the thousands.
