Yes. Just make sure it has the temperature range you need. It may cost a little more but it will also be more sensitive.

If you are willing/able to drill and tap a small 1/4-20 tpi hole in your lube sizer, you could use their 1/2" probe.

Yes, that would work as the PID; however, it isn't specific on the ratings of the thermocouple included. You also still need to get an SSR.

That would be a good project for me in the future....but I think I'll try building my own PID controller next time. After all, the controllers we use typically only need to adjust temperature once...

I'm now at 5200 reloads in my LNL. Added a bullet feeder to my setup and now this is the loudest component of the setup. I wish it has a shutoff switch when the tube filled up, but it does not so...
