I know this is thread has some age on it but I have the same mold. I used crumpled up tin foil in my bullet seating die to make it fit.
What COL are you using with this boolit if you dont mind me asking? I have been having a little trouble getting it running in my G22 with a Lonewolf barrel.
Forum: Cast Boolits
I use wood dowels but they need to fit the barrel well. But instead of one long rod I cut them into 4-5" pieces. This trick I learned from a long time member here. I to had a dowel stuck in the...

I took a roll pin punch and removed the carbide ring out of my Lee FCD. It was sizing the boolit as it went in the die just as stated above.
Forum: Cast Boolits
I use that Lee mold but sort brass before converting. The one thing I did was drill out the gas check so its a plain base boolit now. I powder coat and run them about 16-1700fps and havent had any...

I have been using 8.5gr Reddot with my 155gr cast 30-30 powder coated. Not a fast load but accurate enough on steel plates at 100yds.

I ran into a deal like that a while back. Ended up with over 2000lbs of lead shot. I sold it on the site and turned around and bought ingots ready to cast. Trips to the post office shipping boxes is...

I have been out of pocket for awhile due to a turnaround at work and then the flooding here in Texas hit and that is giving us fits at work as well. I can do lead analysis for you if you still need...

I have analyzed around 100 samples from members here and have noticed that the copper is not normally evenly distributed thru the sample. I can get different copper percentages from one side of an...

I did XRF analysis for another member here on a piece of pipe he sent me and it came out to 96.36% pb and 3.64% sb. He was thinking it was pure pb so it was a nice surprise for him. Not all lead pipe...

maxreloader you can send me a piece or two and I can analyze it for you. I have access to an XRF gun at work.

I am new to casting but not reloading and I didnt want to like powder coating. I was using a Lyman 45 to traditional lube my boolits and liked doing them that way. I finally broke down and powder...

I have John Deere green so my boolits match my tractor.

It may actually be copper. I have been doing lead analysis for members here and see small traces of copper in the results when people send me samples that came from range scrap.
I stand corrected. I fat fingered the model. Its a 1892 32 WCF. Once I got that straight and put in the right serial number it comes back to be made in 1908. Thanks for the correction. Now its even...
This has already been mentioned above. I use 8.5gr of Reddot with a powder coated boolit in my 30-30. Its acurate cheap and a little over 1200fps. It smokes pretty good with traditional lubed boolits...
Never loaded Titegroup in 44 but have shot lots of lbs of it in .40s&w and a little in .380.
I got an old 1894 32-20 made in 1913 going and loaded my first box of ammo for it. I took it easy and didnt mess up any brass. Lubed with Hornady One Shot lube and loaded on a single stage press. I...
I have used this product for fixing cuts on gasket surfaces on high pressure steam lines.

Wish I had seen this earlier. I just boiled with nothing else added. I dont think I got all the lube off because the powder coat didnt cover as good as fresh cast boolits. I will keep this in mind...

I added this to mine. Made a big difference.

I can do XRF analysis on samples if you need it done. PM me for more info if you decide to go that route.
