A big +1 for that!
and you can drop it down to 7 gr for tin cans.

I'm running the Lee 230 5R and love it. It's actually designed to fit the BO chamber and it works as designed. No fuss, no muss, & 7.5gr of Lil Gun.

I must have got lucky! Lee 124 RN as cast with tumble lube and Lee dies crimped in groove feeds my Glock, Llama, and AR w/no problems
I run 10 gr of Lil Gun & H110 with the factory 40gr bullet
7.4 gr of 2400 with 75gr bullets
and for grins
1.8gr of Unique with 62gr SS109 put in backwards
Have fun and stay safe!

For my subsonic loads I run zero to very light crimp. On my 35 ARem I'm still experimenting with everything from zero to heavy crimp. On my Beowulf with 400gr FN and a stiff load of Lil Gun I run a...
At first I had trouble getting the cavities to fill, kinda threw me for a loop. First I tried to pressure pour from right under the pot but that didn't let any gas out. So now I "over pour" to let...
Cleaned up the NOE 225107 mold and cast up some boolits before work the other day. What a difference going between the Lee 309-230 and the NOE 225107! Took some getting used to to get those small...

I just started breaking in my Lee TL309-230 5R Blackout boolit. Fired up the pot the other morning before work and hope to get back to it and see what they will do.

Got my NOE 225107 mold the other day and hope to break it in soon. I got 1000 of the ASW 40 gr JFP Armscore bullets but they are too long to seat deeper than 1.2". Tried my loads of 35, 40, and 55gr...

Hey all,
Loaded up some old 55gr RNCG my brother had laying around. I'm looking for a die in the 40 gr range. Any suggestions?

Just ordered the 225107 clone from NOE :)
I just ordered 1000 of the 40gr JFN projectiles from ASW and got my 5k of primers in yesterday. Also loaded up some 55gr RNGC to "under 1.275" in my 22 Reed Express cases to see if they would fit.

Hi All,
I also was interested in doing the TCM but wanted to reload with the same issues. Then I couldn't find an RIA TCM so I called Ron Reed about his Reed Express and got dies and a reamer. I...

Found this old post because a customer asked me to ream out his cylinders to .451" on his Pietta 1858 clone. He has an instruction sheet, undocumented from somewhere, with the procedure to ream and...
I've also got a 247gr 30 cal bore rider from NOE, nice mold. I was using AA #9 with a charge of 5.6 to 6 gr depending on seating depth. A charge of 5gr of Unique should get you in the ball park and...
For my Lee 200gr cast load I started with 5gr of Unique and 8gr of Lil Gun. I just got the new Lee 220gr "Blackout" boolit but haven't had a chance to cast any yet.

Hey All,
I have run cast through all my AR's with the exception of the .223 / 5.56, if you don't count the 22LR conversion. If cost is your only consideration, go with a 9mm blow back. You can tune...
Yep, entirely possible to use up the standard AR magwell. My Beowulf uses 400 gr boolits and I was told by the previous owner that it ," rolls black bears with authority." I can say first hand it...
The question of "why not just ....." hopefully will continue forever and promote ideas and development. Therefore my motto is "Why not?" The Tokarev is what it is and when it was $80 a case of 1100...
One of my favorite Tok rounds is 9.5 gr of H110 with bulk 147 FMJ's seated to the lands. Very accurate. We have been building Tokarev AR barrels, gas systems, magazine adapters, (Pps-43's are the...
The BMG is definately not the most economical thing to shoot, but it is quite an experience. I would like to get up to the 700 gr range tho, as long as I don't have to do any throating. I run 400 gr...
 You should see the looks I get when I unload it off the truck, set it up on the bench and people start hiding behind things. Then it goes Pop! [smilie=l:
