you can get a 30 cal mould with no GC, but it's not common.
I would suggest you get a GC mould, because it will make load development a bit easier.

I guess it is to practice shooting with both eyes open, rapid fire, for defensive purposes in close proximity.
shot the solid version into water jugs. same powder charge, distance etc..
it bounced off the 6thjug and was lost. :(
evidence it tumbled in the second jug on the exit and heyhole's after that....
