Forum: Swaging
When the Germans during WWII had troubles with raw materials they syntetised new ones. And they made some good progresses with iron sintered bulletts...
Are them screws an obscure and unobtainable thread and size or can be substituted?
The interesting fact in this process is that it will made weaker the already weak reasoning that all the illegal weapons starts their life as legal ones.
Let me add that a couple of Britons, a...

An overseas vote for the Marlin 39a.
Got an used one here in Italy, really as new for 300 Euros.
Only instance known where a gun was cheaper here than the US.

Well done!
(I am also glad to see another southpaw shooter, if you read the Bible in family point him to Judges 20:16 “Among all these soldiers there were seven hundred chosen men who were...

Just squirreled away another 40 lbs of lead from the .22 bullet traps in my firing range. Not the easiest job, since it is a mix of lead splatter and mashed up cardboard. I smelt it on an open fire...

I would suggest a copy of the Remington 1858.
Really lots of fun.

I'd rather work on the primer side rather than tweaking a good project.
The SKS is a wonderful weapon in itself.

Another vote for the K31. Mine has even a Left Handed operating rod. Stock apart (it seems that it was SOP in the armée to habe beavers around chewing the buttstock) the irons are as new. And the...

Yes, and in Italy we tend to grow it in small vases just on the kitchen window sill so you have it fresh as soon as you need it.
And, besides, the...

They are nearly the only hoice of caps available in Europe. Sizewise they are between your #10 and #11. Most of the Italian replicas (Pedersoli, Uberti, Chiappa and Pietta) have their nipples...

I tend to separate the bullets in three groups:
