Goodsteel is right. I used it to blacken some stainless glock barrels. Works great and don't turn you back when you put it in there. lol

I like to eat it over rice. Just heat up and dump it on a cup of rice. Works great for camping. The boil in the bag rice and a pint of deer meat. Yum

Any updates?

On my 550 you have to machine the plate down so the lock ring will fit on the bottom. Not sure if the same has to be done on the 1050.
