I have one as well in a Savage 110 I put in a Choate Ultimate Sniper stock. Handy for swapping barrels around when you don't want to mess with the magazine.

I usually try them from bore size up to throat size in rifles, kind of depends on how long the throat is. Usually sizing to the throat has worked best for me, even if the bullet is smaller (GC...

I am Methodist and my wife is Catholic, and they recognized my baptism. They asked a lot of questions when we were married, but pretty much recognized baptism in any common protestant faith when I...
Hmm, that reminds me of the bundle of bamboo my wok came with to clean it. I wonder if a bamboo skewer, possibly with the end crushed, could be used to scour the cavity of rust without scratching.
You can spot treat with evaporust by using shop towel pieces in the cavities, soaked in it. I have done it to keep blueing intact.
Are you dead set on finding the old ideal mold? Old West molds has several good .41 colt heeled molds available. Accurate molds could maybe make one as well, if it has a flat meplat.

Ugh, I am going to revise mine to making reloadable .41 extra long rimfire out of .38 Special. Now I know why the reloadable .41 RF shorts for sale are from bar stock and expensive. I think I have...

My favorite paper punching and small game rifle loads use plain base, unsized, and tumble lubed bullets. You have to be willing to keep the speeds down, but it is so easy once you have the load...
I opened up a .284 die to .301 using a different method before there was the NOE option. I cast a bunch of the bullets I wanted to size and started sizing them coated in grinding compound in lots of...

I don't have a Berthier, but my little R35 likes the Lee 8mm Max. Mine drops at .329". I also had the Lee Karabiner mold, but it did not shoot as well and dropped at .327".

There is a barrel on gunbroker. I would get it as backup to one of these solutions. If you get the original barrel shooting well, just resell it.

Looks like a lot. You could thin it down with mineral spirits. I mix Lee alox 50/50 with mineral spirits to get thinner coats if I am not using BLL.

You might ask a mod to move this to a better place. More of a cartridge collector area here. It is not based on the rimmed .30-30, but on the Remington rimless .30 Remington. Grafs sells new made...

Fiocchi might be another brand to look at. I can only compare them to CCI, though. They are definitely more sensitive than CCI, and never had a problem with them. I don't have a Pro 1000 to judge...

Why bother with resizing the .30, they have .25 and .32 for the same price.

10.35x47r Italian, but I do make it a bit harder on myself by using old berdan 8mm Lebel military brass and convert it to 209 primers. Basically I expand to .35, .38, .40, run into FL sizer, convert...
