As already mentioned once, sounds to me like your crimp (roll or taper crimping?) is not removing all the flare.....
Measure at the case mouth of loaded round, I like .423" and/or resize a case,...

If the base of your boolits are not being sized (cast slightly undersize), they can act like a bevel base and allow lube under boolit.
If it happens with some, but not all, check sized dia. of those...

Should "shine" with roundballs!!!

My TC hawken .45 is 1:48..............

For round balls.....1.5 times caliber...so 1.5 X 45 = 67.5
70 gr fffg is what I use for my .45 TC Hawken (built from kit in 1974)

For Maxiballs, add 5 grs. powder for every 25 grs weight more...

Very nice groups now......1" @ 50 yds with iron sights,,,,
using 60 gr/fff and getting about 1400 fps.
With a .320 Meplat, 302 grs. @ 1400 fps......should be very good deer medicine!!
