Pistol groove is .429"

Rifle groove diameter is .431"

I have been shooting 158gr .358" cast with excellent results for years...

On the right day, with the right buyer, WITH the rings...

Rings are not made the same any longer, and though the new style can be reshaped to work, they are not an off the shelf fit...
