Out of curiosity did you have to bypass the internal relay in that c100? I have read that some have an internal relay that needs to be removed and have a jumper added. It seems to be a crapshoot...
My 7.5 Blackhawk gets me about 1000 fps @ 8.5 grains with that Lee 255 grain bullet.
I grazed my prochrono a few weeks ago. I should have known better bringing it to the range on a weekend. It wasn't lined up properly and was too low. I didn't want to wait for a cease fire. I felt...

I am 34 and gas in St Louis was 89 cents when I was 18 years old, so in 98'. That is the cheapest I remember it. It was nice filling that escort up for $9.

Bought the stuff. Now the wait from China. I am sure I will have questions when it arrives. All the stuff came to about $23 bucks or so. Can't beat that.

Thanks for the info and links. I also read somewhere that the Rex C100 will display higher if you change the setting.

How hard is that to set up? Do you have a schematic? Thanks in advance. Also, is the 400 Celsius enough for our purpose?

Also thinking about getting a pid. Does anyone have the mypin manual that frozone posted a while back. It seems he is no longer on the board. I have read through most of this thread and am looking...

Thanks for all the replies. Definitely have some ideas. Now I just have to get out in the cold and do them.

Sorry, my phone camera isn't that good. Here are a couple more pics. Thanks for all the responses.

Could it be from the sprue lube. Could I be applying too much. I am rubbing bullplate on top of the mold block (where the sprue contacts) and on the bottom of the sprue plate. Inside the actual...

Thanks for the advice. I will definitely try the cooking oil trick. I haven't shot any yet. One I PC them I will take them to the range and try them out. With the cooking oil, do you put anything...

This is my second casting session. First session had a little bit of what you see in the picture, but this time it looked really bad. I was using a lee pro 20# bottom pour, lee 2 cavity molds, and...

While that is true, I find it much more "instant" to read and figure it out. Because most questions have been asked before, takes me less time to find the answer then to ask and wait for a response....

I do not have a extra scale, but the lee scale only costs about $25 new and is incredibly accurate. It is a bit sensitive and takes longer to zero than the rcbs scale. But it does work.

I thought it was the same (or at least very similar). Just imr started putting their name on it at some point. I obviously could be wrong though.
I am guessing he means reaming the cylinder throats with a Manson Reamer from brownells.

I got mine from amazon for just over $6 shipped. Amazon said expected delivery 6/5. I received on 5/16. I went to 3 wm's and none of them had it so I just figured I would order from amazon.
I bought 1500 over the last few months. Been loading the same 125 for my ruger Blackhawk 7.5 for about 10 reloads now. Haven't had to discard a single case yet. I would just go sign up for a 1000...
Give starline a call. They will usually put you up for backorder on 45 colt even if the site says "no backorder". Lately, there have been quite a few runs of the 45 colt brass. Wish they would make...

I would guess he bought 3 8#s not 24 1#s. I did the same thing when I saw 8# of Unique for $99. Couldn't pass up $13.40 per pound after tax.

One thing would be for small critters like snakes. Though for self defense against human I think I would prefer a regular 250 grain lead or a Keith type bullet.
