I have the Henry single shot, and a older H&R handi. At 100 yards I could not ask for a more accurate rifle, they are both strong. Able to handle Marlin level loads. The wood is much nicer on the...

Absolutely, I have a BCA so I figured the Tromix gauge may have been a waste. If they have "pratical accuracy" (2" at 100 yards) I would load them up for sure.

I tried as well in the SOCOM and had a similar experience. I have not gone back to keep trying this yet, but it's on my agenda. I just made a modified case for 458 SOCOM so I can actually work these...

Thanks guys, I just wanted to make sure I was not going crazy. I did find out after pulling out the trusty COL gauge and some experimenting that the Hornady cases that are cut short will actually...

I have a Marlin 1895, and a Henry Single shot I've tried so far. It may just be these rifles have very short freebore/throats. It's just peculiar because both rifles don't want to chamber.

I have a question about the other guys who have this mould. Sized to .459. I had made up a dummy cartridge to trimmed brass to the crimp groove, and they will not chamber in the 2 45-70s I have here...

Skinner told me if I reached out he would make one for me. I bumped into him on a 45/70 board. I shoot my SS on a scope, so I went with the peep on my levergun

I have found (being originally from NJ) that many* of the people there are actually pretty pro gun. Living next to NYC and the rampant crime in areas like Newark and Camden make the representatives...

Which spring rate did you go with? I just got in a few from another gentleman. Did you use a trigger gauge on it afterwords?

So the lawyers strike again lol. I just don't understand the idea of it being a safety concern. You have to be fairly purposeful to load and cock a single shot.

Yes it's a steel reciever, and I paid like 380$ the biggest complaint is the trigger is a bit heavy. I just worked with a guy to find some lighter springs. But overall I would buy it againLi

Also I have the H015-4570 and I can measure the barrel dimensions if you guys are still interested in that, I can take pictures and post or ill just make a chart with where I took measurements.

I will take a set if you still have them, I have been looking for a way to lighten up the trigger pull on mine.

This was at 100 yards with jacketed bullets (tighter group), and I got an inch with some 457193 (I think that's it, Lyman 500gn RN government profile bullets) so it shot both very well....

So side note, Henry fixed it. I sent it back and they did a wonderful job on it.
Also, they just announced some pistol calibers and 30-30 in this rifle

I need a bit of advise, these moulds aren't cheap. I'm going to be sizing them to .459 . The mould was designed for 462 and I have a lubrisizer so I figured sizing .003 wouldn't do any harm......

Yes, that sounds great. I really appreciate it.

Is it past to change to a gas check mould? I just spoke to my hunting buddy and we decided gas checks aren't that expensive and it will work better in the lever guns I'd we want to push them.
