i tried my rounds last week the 46 grains in 308 behind a 155 palma was not an impressive group and was doing 1" 1/2 at 200 yards , now considering i got blackspot surplus down to .28" at 100 yards ...

it was definitely softer than than the ggg surplus i also shot , i did have a quick accuracy test at first and was doing about an inch at 100 yards with the odd flyer ...

i gave 2400 a go in my ar 15 .223 a couple of weeks ago with good results i was only using 10 grains and it was a tad soft but a nice round for alot of shots , i put 50 rounds through and did not...

i love 2400

i use it in 44 mag 357 mag 308 win and my latest addition 223 its a good powder, cheap and you dont use much of it

bore it out to a 45 smoothbore for blackpowder

i always assumed it stayed locked otherwise you accuracy would drop , i like how i started a massive debate over an assumption . i jsut watched the vid and IMO that they are not power flakes before...

i shot about 70 rounds today of home loads with around 9.3 grains of 2400 , the rounds were not hot and no stress signs...

BLOWTORCH get a powerful one that makes it drip fast , or use and drill arger bit and get but shaving ,do it in lines so its then easier to take and axe to it and break it apart

hmm iv always assumed jacketed bullets produce less pressure when same weight and size because of the less friction of the copper

since i have tons of 2400 and ...well....nothing else i need a load for my 223 , i only see one instance of 2400 in the lyman load book using 11.5 max with 55 grn alloy, so im thinking on using 12...

I could not find any 7.62 x 39 brass in the UK AT ALL!! , luckily i went on holiday to new zealand and the round is becoming more popular over there so there was a vast supply of brass and heads...
