I bring it during hunting season just in case but also have my Dewey rod setup.
I reload 25acp but don't shoot it much. About 20 some years ago I got a whole sleeve of XTP's for a close out price and am still working off of that stock. Yes it's a little slower reloading these...

That's what I bought. Works great on a turret where the dies are in close quarters.

We used coarse charcoal in our large lead pots to reduce oxidation when I worked in a heat treat department many moons again. But that was at much higher temps then for casting.

I used to pour lead hammers for the machine shop guys in the factory I worked in. #5, $10 and #20. I replenished the pot with ingots I made from the used hammers, approximately $40 each. One day one...
I now wet tumble my brass using citric powder ( GunTap's) with ArmourAll wash and wax in cool water. The w&w seems to decrease the effort needed during sizing.

That's what I have on my Lee turret press. What a difference.

Be glad you aren't buying a firearm or for that matter ammo in New York!

I started planting mine Monday. Went to close up our trailer yesterday. Today I'll finish planting the rest of the garlic. About the right time for my zone. We do use a lot of garlic!

Purchased 4 pound can of Win 244 yesterday. Am loading some 38 spl. and 357 mag. loads up for testing.
BTW I picked up a brick of CCI spp for $59.99 at our local Sportsman's Warehouse this week too.

I recently started using the Lee Classic and really like it. Not everyone can afford ( or needs ) a $2000 progressive press setup.

Well that's not good to hear. I was thinking of using it (if I can ever find it) instead of 5744 for my Savage 10ML.

I water quench just to cool the bullets down quickly.

Zebco 33, purchased with Top Value stamps! Took me a lot of chores to convince my mom to to part with that 2/3 of a stamp book!

When an acquittance questioned my 9mm for bear defense I told him it wasn't for shooting the bear but to slow him down. He was quite after that.

Decent price and no haz met charge.
Just checked my store, still showing a limit of two and no LR or shotgun primers.

It's not an issue for me. I dump the load into a RCBS media seperator and spin. The pins fall out and the brass gets rinsed. Maybe I'm lucky but I've never had a stuck pin.
Starting using mine several years ago and really like it. Easy on the hands. Already had the hand primer which uses the same shell holders. But since I bought the Lee Classic turret press, most of my...

And here I am, happy with my Lee Classic Turret press and my Redding Boss single.

I use it exclusively in my Savage 10ML muzzleloader. Not dirty but I always run a patch through every two shots to make reloading easier.

Not sure if I replied to this before but hell, I lurked , sometimes for years, on many sites before joining. That was in the early days of the interweb!

My reloads with Hornady 225 and 250 gr. bullets are tack drivers. My cast not as good. But I will keep trying different powder s.
