I've used the 150 gr. Hot Core on 4 Whitetail. I wanted a heavier bullet but, that was all I could find at the time. Worked pretty good but, won't exit unless a behind shoulder/ribs shot.

I had a work supervisor years ago that was a Vietnam vet. He had heard that story about the ammo too. He said he didn't know how it would ever work. I told him there was no way the VietCong could use...

Wow, that's a light .45 boolit. But, yeah that'll be fine.

Swamp and toallmy, that would be great. I only really need about 20 of each. Just want to load them up and see if they'll feed reliably. Let me know how much I owe both of you. Thanks

It's the TC bullet. There's 2 one has multiple grooves and the other one has just one groove, I think.

Would like to buy a few Lee if possible. Just wanted to try them out for feeding and accuracy. Thanks

Same with my H&R Huntsman .58 caliber. Not accurate at all. I think I could throw them about as accurate. Shoots patched round balls good though.

Had to be a T/C Contender with a weird shaped wood grip, in .357 Herrett. The grip was uncomfortable just to hold, let alone shoot it. The second most uncomfortable I can remember has to be my Taurus...

Wow, I need somebody like you around my hunting area.

Wow, great expansion. A dime is about .710", and you've got a least .900".

I wonder how the Lee 230 gr. FP would do? A friend of mine has a mold.
I know this is a old thread but, I just saw this. My 1911 will feed 230 gr. FMJ and 230 gr. HP like a greased pig but, absolutely hates 200 gr. SWC. I've got 2 factory 8 rd. and a Promag I've not...
I've bought 3 in the last couple months.
Sar Usa Sar 9 9mm
Tisas .45 ACP
RIA .Model 200 .38 Special
I've not even fired the Tisas and RIA yet. Need to remedy that soon.

I bought a pound of it Yesterday. I've never used it before though. Thought I might try it in .45 ACP, 9mm, and maybe .38 Special.
Supposed to get some 148 gr. wadcutters from a friend. and wondered if anybody had some good Unique loads.
The last I bought was at Academy about 4 weeks ago. They were $7.00 a hundred. Not cheap but, not awful either. Last few times I've been, they've been out.
Just wondered if anybody had made and used one. I tried a tropical fish net, rubber banded to grip. Didn't work all that good. Bounced out about 1/3 of the time. I may just get a good sized tarp.

Ok, I didn't know about Lee blanks. I was figuring on having to start with aluminum stock. But, I might look into Lee. Thanks
I heard of this company years ago but, don't think I've ever seen one in person.

I've been thinking about it for awhile. A friend has mentioned it to me. I might give it a try but, will have to borrow one of his molds to draw a print from. I will alter it to another boolit...

Texas, love the stippling on grips. I got to get a couple 10 round mags for mine too. My biggest complaint on the Hi-Points is the single stack mags. The YC9 was supposed to remedy this and other...

Pretty neat alteration. Whatever it takes to make it easier to use. I've got 4 Hi-Points. 2 C9 9mm, a JHP .45, and a 995 carbine. I've shot steel cased ammo, various hp ammo, and lots of my handloads...
