I keep getting video ads for a scope that attaches to your cell phone camera. Anyone know if these things could be used as a spotting scope?

Does it seat gas checks as well? Their web site doesn't give much information for the item. it says you need to buy bushings and rods. They show a bunch of bushings but no rods?!?!!?
