I understand your concerns.
I was a a range in Brownsville several months ago, and after witnessing several mishaps with other people on the range I talked to the owner. The conversation was...

Sent about 62 pounds of lead down range before lunch in the form of .45 ACP 240 TC out of my Sig 1911. In the process I made sure the tan and black targets would never intimidate anyone again.

I did a 2 for 1 last year with a 30/30 RCBS 180 FN, so I know how you did it.
:-)
I am 180 and 5' 11" on most days and have no problem with the 1911 all day everyday. I do not get it that even bigger folks say they can not conceal one. Most days I have 2 on me and even then you...
Sig 1911 Carry on the side, Glock 33 in the pocket or cross draw for if it ever gets that bad.
750 grain FMJBT out of a M107 takes care of them real good.
Of course it is not a hand gun.

I got an Armadillo at 900 yards with my M107 last year. Nice to know I am not the only one that likes more than needed.

They have enough silliness at the check point. Please do not give them more ideas.
I have a 669 that is over 20 years old and have never had a problem with it other than a chipped wood grip (my fault). It handles a steady diet of magnum, shoots straight, no problem with the bluing...

I rescued a lost and lonely wheel weight today in the parking lot. The once lonely weight is now in the garage being kept company by almost two full five gallon buckets. The weight is no longer...

Got my Size Die today from Latheman.
Looks great, machining is top notch.
If it cools down to about 85 this evening I will go put it to use.
Thanks.

Ok, could not resist the smart comment so here it is.
One pound of lead = One pound of boolits.
Like said before, not enough.

Pretty much the way my email was worded.

Sent an E-mail to Hornady on Friday this past week admitting to my messing up one of their Dies. Yesterday I received a new spindle thread, decap pin, and expander.
I love it when a company does...

I would start closer to 5.5 with power pistol that is going to be a stout load close to max according to my Hornady book.
The dies are extra, trust me they will make every effort to make the up sale. I ordered my die for the .45 from Latheman here on the site.
He gets good reviews and am looking forward to a review...

Got my new Rock Chucker today, mounted it on the bench next to the Dillion 550. Put the .223 dies in to do some primer popping and sizing, got the third case stuck. Switched to the...
