IMR 3031 is one of my favorite powders. I have worked up really nice hunting loads for my 303 Brit, 7.5x55 Swiss, 30-06 & 7.7 Jap. Bullet range from 150 - 165 gr.

Though my go to 06 powder is IMR...

I think you'll find it will serve you well.

I have three of them on my hunting guns (Mossy 500 Turkey gun, No4Mk1 and K31) and haven't had a problem with any of them after 4-5 years. Fairly high round counts with heavy loads. Excellent battery...

I did something similar with an extra 214gr Lee SWC mold. Turned it into a 240 gr WFP with a .385 cutting but on the drill press at work. Turned out nice a shoots great.

I own a shoot both Ruger and S&W 44 mags. My go to is the 4" 629. One really can't go wrong with either brand.

Got my Bulldog a few years ago. Put many rounds through it. Love it and carry it more than anything else. Not as refined as my S&W or Rugers, but just as reliable and it's as accurate as I am.

OK.... I gotta get the 22 out this weekend. This thread is making me hungry!
