I have one and I really like it. The fit and finish is quite impressive and the only dislike is like my other 10mm's (Ruger BH convertible excepted) it throws brass into the next county!

they do make them in "half lug" --I have one Ruger's catalogs it as GP-4451 model 01770.

A new to me Smith 625-8. So far it shoots far better than I can hold. BTW full moon clips are a PITA but handy.
