    I beliuve that leading the barrle -maybe port... can be part of the learning curve. Mostly on the hot side,
    And elbow grease and bore brush are the way not to take them to a gunsmiths.
    I hate it...

    I too realy like your Idea ,,,I shoot light loads often and don't need gaschecks ,removing the bad part and having a plain base...

    You can have some other low speed cal.. like a 32 -20 or a 32 H&R --- made by a gunsmith... A 9mm 45 acp are others... You may have to change the fireing pin to a smaller non shotgun pin.. ...

    No. 4 buckshot in a .223 and less then 2 gr bulleye plus a filler.....I belive a light cast boolet is better,,,
