Yes..your correct. I believe that's why it was off limits for sometime. We just got the green light to start the job, I was fortunate to check
out the job first.

Also the silver blocks seam to be Linotype because of the ring they have when moving them.

I believe it will work in the Win 52 or 75 models. Very similar, the only difference is that there is no Lock/Notch on them. Even the after market mags for the Winchester doesn't have the lock/notch....

That's the problem there's no markings on it.

Does the Winchester have the small lock notch?

The Savage 84c mag has 2 lock notches, this one has just 1.
The Remington notch looks a little larger and on the bottom mind just has one hole.
