I went ahead and formed up 50 cases to the shortened 6mm Remington point. I took one and filed the base diameter down before running it through the Lee die. I had a small belt left that I filed off,...

It'll go to my grandson along with all the info and brass.

I have an abundance of surplus brass, that's why I'm going that route. It's a time consuming process going through all the steps. I didn't consider collets, but that's yet another step.

I won't be loading to 6mm Remington specs, I would use the Lee Navy specs.

As I have previously posted, I have a Commission 88 carbine that has been sportered and rebarreled to 6mm Lee Navy, using a commercial Winchester 1895 Lee Navy barrel. One of the members here was...

I grabbed some corn cob bedding from the feed store to put in my vibratory polisher. Tossed a hundred .223 brass in to pretty them up. All I did was pack those shells solid with corncob. It doesn't...

In one of the John Wayne movies, where they are on a raft in some river rapids, he is holding and shooting a Daisy 94 BB gun. I guess if it went overboard, it wasn't like losing a 92.

Here's a jig that makes using the HF cutoff saw much more accurate. I found it on Ebay, and it holds the cases firmly for cutting and ejects the shell when the next one is pushed in. I reformed some...

The only Rolling Blocks I've seen with the sling swivel holes in the trigger guard are the NY State, Springfield Contract, and the Norwegian.

I have an 1875 dated Norwegian Rolling block in excellent original condition that is stamped ".50-.348 LUGNET" on top of the chamber. I researched the caliber and did a chamber cast, and discovered...

Another Oregonian from the Portland area saying hi, I'm starting to load for a Norwegian Rolling Block that has been re-chambered in .50 Alaskan. I'm hoping to glean a lot of info from the site.
