I may need to get an ultrasonic cleaner - I bet it would work great - until then I take them off and throw them in some moose milk and let them soak while I clean the rest of the gun - I do not like...

It is a flash cup - supposed to help keep the cap residue from the barrel. It sort of works. I bought it from track of the wolf.

I just finished up with the laurel mountain on a cva mountain rifle - I am happy with the finish - don't know how durable it will be in the long term. This is my first attempt at browning anything....

I am using Laurel Mountain Forge browning solution right now - it is easy and even though I have maybe 2-3 more coats to go it looks very good. It is inexpensive and easy to use.

Thanks for all the advice. One other question - how do you all clean the patten chamber? I can get a .22 brush in there - but I cannot get a patch in there.
