Looks like I got it backwards. 44-40 favor smaller sizes closer to .429. Looks like Lee's tumble lube molds drops boolets allowing to load without going through a sizer.

Any one use HbN for a lube? Works great in high power rifle, 22lr calibers.

With large pistol primers my favorite 200g frn on top of Titegroup 6gr for about 1000fps med load. 240g cast on top of 10grs runs about 1250fps which is plenty for me and get more fps per grain.

Graphite coated patch run through a cold barrel is an old benchrest shooters trick. Works good, mumm good.

Read a lot here and wanting to buy a mold the guy asked me if had slugged the barrel. So back to reading up on slugging then decided would smelt the stick on WW to get soft lead slugs for my barrels....

Many won't sell WW. After a two day search paid 35 cents pound for half a 5 gal (80#), another place $20 for 5 gal bucket full. Some still gave it away. Spent $90 all together netting 3 full 5 gal...
