if it wasn't for people without friends, and gun magazines. There would not be a seemingly endless supply of 5 pound rifles chambered in 300 win mag in the used racks.

40x bore paste on a patch wrapped on a nice new brass brush does wonders...
Never forget the bull dog is a 6 shot 38 special turned into a 5 shot 44 special. It shouldn't be used past STANDARD 44 special levels due to the fact that, you can get away with it once, but how...

well 1000 dollars COULD get you something in the "tasco 12$ rim fire scope" level.
I have seen a company that makes a night scope add on kit that hooks onto your EXISTING scope, and gives you...

gotta love a movie about a girl with spunk..
At least they solved the splinter problem in toilet paper. Read an article on when they finally got the splinters solved.

new model vaquero, always heard to load em like a genuine colt.
that factory ammo probably shouldn't get used past 50 yards..
original 45 colt loads in the original barrels has always been...

ive been paying more attention to the issue and I think I have it figured out.
It doesn't like Remington brass. Or federal brass if I chamfer the case mouth.

IF you worried about impact velocity you could always get a 44 magnum. 250 grains at 1100fps WOULD give you a tad better chance at blowing through the deer LENGTHWISE....

ill bet you 50 to 1 that the guys brand new EX gal pal did that for him.

turn that into a .45acp or .38 super and you REALLY have something. Turn it into a .30 carbine and you will need a new factory to keep up with demand.

you wont hurt that rifle at all.
I believe every AMERICAN made round of ammunition marked uses a .308 diameter bullet. EUROPEAN uses a standard diameter bullet.
Ive seen old destruction tests...

wonder what diameter the bullet was when it hit the second.

not scientific testing at all. no idea what was used in the rifles as far as ammunition went.
its not hard to assume people would assume receiver strength based on chamber pressure. In a lever...
Well after a discussion with CIP customer service last year, CIP uses a different type of sensor then SAAMI, another reason they say the pressures are different.

after serious shooting with Red Dot, based on the residue left behind, I believe its the same powder used by Remington for its rimfire ammo.
I don't know what the red flakes actually are, but...

I had to ask the question, density can be an issue if your a dipper like I am at the moment.
Forum: Special Projects
in theory if the 38 sw got stretched out to 38 special length, and used 38+p pressure, consider the velocity you could get with the 200 grain bullets.

they are kind of screwy when you get down to it. They do have the tendency to work best in a break action pistol... but short rifles like say a 10/22 carbine are fine.
Just don't expect to much...

Its why I was asking. They made it out that each company is using slightly different measurements so that some are sloppier then others, and I cant figure out what ones were called "gooder then the...

People on here have said they are the same powder, but when I looked at the alliant website, it said "same burn rate as Red Dot, but higher density".
SO are they really the same thing?

ive been using a 170 grain true shot gc bullet with 10 grains of red dot and only have powder residue to deal with, no lead at all.

its most likely the steel linkage between the safety mechanism in the trigger, and the big safety switch on the tang.
