The frame is not smaller on the 44 mag 50th Ann guns. It's a full size blackhawk without the sight ears. The 357's are the smaller ones.

Man, I can't get myself to shoot anyone's reloads. I'd pull em all and start over. Why take a chance on lighting off an explosion 24" from your face with unknown quality control?

Mine is a 45 Colt. I cast a 355gr wfn from a custom LBT mould. Water dropped wheel weights. 19gr LilGun gets me 1200fps. One shot kills on all deer to be expected.
38yds was a quartering away raking...

My 4" 454 Redhawk is Mag-na-ported and all that happens is the front sight gets dirty. It's never seen a jacketed bullet. Congrats and enjoy your 454!
