My first thought is to get yourself some 45 Cowboy Special brass, which is 45 ACP with a rim, and load that with BP. Leave your ACP brass for what its intended for. But that's me.

I say that with an added within range. 150 yards or so, and practice shooting at those ranges so you know haw and where your rifle is shooting.

That's gonna be too small, as your bore is going to slug at .513. Your going to want to cast at minimum of .514. I also use the Accurate 51-350CL mold for a slug that's .515 and it is very accurate.

I've used the IMR version alot in my Uberti 76 caliber's, 45/75, 50/95, 45/60. Also in 45/70 and 38/55. The H version is supposed to be the/near same, but I've never actually used it cuz the IMR...

I use ACP *cast bullet* loading data in my 45 Special reloads. I also use the ACP cylinders in the guns that have them.

I use an old dish towel, drape it over a knee and swipe the bullet over it before it goes in the box.

We have a similar new rule in Illinois, I used my Winchester Chief Crazy Horse in 38/55.
