Tossing around the idea of rechambering my Marlin 336 in .35 Rem. to .35 Whelan. Any thoughts as of cost, would barrel twist need to change, is receiver strong enough?

They wont fit after running them through the lubsizer. But after I load them I'm suspecting the crimping process is sizing them down some more because they slide right in after seating and crimping...

Does crimping further size cast bullets? The reason I ask is when I size my .41 cal. bullets to .412 they will not go through my ruger cylinders with quite a bit of force. After loading them and roll...

I second the bullplate lube. Wrinkled bullets are the mold not being hot enough. Lube only the alignment pins, and only lube the bottom of the sprue plate with fresh warm bullets in the cavitys.

Never stop collecting lead, when the system fails, we'll be ready.

Embed lapping compound into boolits and shoot till restriction is gone? How many shots approximately to accomplish this?

So when Runfiverun says to lap it, he's talking about only lapping the barrel where it screws into the frame, correct? And how would you go about lapping it? What technique?

Bought a used Blackhawk in .41 mag for $375.00 recently, you can do better.

I flux moderately after the clips separate. It seems to release the clips cleaner.

We use them at work and are told to direct them away from anything reflective.
