I have shot pure Linotype in my 45 acp for over 50 years. No problem cutting or breaking, but you do have to watch out for the type lice, they can get in your hair, lol

I had about 25 or 30 sticks with holes in it and they worked fine. I think I put more pressure on mine than others do. I can lube 25 to 30 45 cal. bullets with out adding pressure
