This works great for controlling the heat on a lube sizer or turning a freezer into a fridge. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00V4TJR00/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1
I will, thought I had one but couldn't find it.
For an explanation I started out with a 1x2 Oak board cut to 8 inch lengths. Took it to my buddies router table to cut the slots for the mold handle...

Considering 8 pounds of buck shot is close to $40 if you can find it an $80 mold isn't really overpriced in my opinion. I've had my Marty's mold for a week and already cast 15 pounds of #1 buck. Heck...

Sure can. If I know what the primer is I'll reload it in any appropriate round. If I don't know for sure what the primer is like CCI or CCI mag then I will use the primer in lighter plinking rounds.
Why not just work up a load for the buckshot instead of messing around with something that might not work as good?

Right handed. I have a standard barrel rifle, I don't remember how much extra space was around the barrel but I would imagine that the barrel channel would need worked on to fit a bull barrel.

My 6 cavity Lee molds like to be preheated to around 420 degrees measured with a NOE mold temp probe. I preheat on a hot plate and once the mold block is up to temp I turn the mold over and place the...

Do you really think that in a true SHTF situation your going to be tumbling brass much less reloading? If things get that bad you had better have your ammo already loaded. Even having a flour mill is...

You really need a thermometer. With my Lee pots if set on 12 the lead will be about 900 degrees, 7 will hold around 750 until everything gets nice and hot then 3 or 4 is about 750. But the dial on...

Probably your lead, could be pot and or mold temp. Cold mold and or pot tends to cast light bullets, what temp are you running your pot at.
Hard to say on your lead mix not knowing anything about...

My issue with group buys is the wait as well. I may be casting or working on a caliber right now but who knows what I will be doing in a few months to a year so the group buys just don't make sense...

Wish guys would stop smoking molds, causes more issues then it fixes. Clean your new molds well with carb cleaner, brake clean or even white gas and cast away. From your pic the bullets look good,...
