I haven't decided on another measure, but I'm leaning towards a Lyman 55.

I would be happy with 1/10 gr variation! I'm not loading top end, just mid rangd 9mm, 38 special, and 45acp loads.

My hornady is an older one that has one drum with 2 adjustable inserts. One for pistol is too narrow, the flakes must bridge inside, and charges can vary by several grains. The large insert uses the...

I need to get another measure for my garage loading area. I have a Hornady, but it doesn't work well with small charges of Red Dot or Unique, my most used powders. There is just too much variation...
I had one a good while back. When I first got it I foolishly shot some 9mm Luger through it. It shot and functioned great. After shooting I picked up my brass and noticed about 1/3 of them looked...

I saw this posted on another forum and thought it was very interesting. Pretty dangerous stuff at the beginning, and neat seeing their combat shooting tactics. I was most curious about the reloading...

Grafs has Privi brass in stock now, just a heads up. Now I will be able to see how my mosin shoots.
I use the Lyman 356402 in my P1. Flawless feeding, no jams. It's the only cast design I have tried in it, but the gun was not reliable with jacketed Remington HP's.

The model 53 is just as strong as a model 70, basically identical except for some cosmetic differences. I picked one up at a gunshow a little while back.

Wow, I have heard of powder going bad, but never seen it before. It looks like it turned liquid.

I have seen those, but $20 bucks seems a little stiff! May have to bite the bullet, though. First, I'm gonna try the sight off a junk VZ-24 barrel I have laying around. It is a little taller.

Yep, I am currently casting up another much needed batch, waiting for the pot to come up to temp. Looks like I'm gonna need alot of these.

Most of my casting in the past has been centered around pistol shooting. I then started casting for my Winchester 94's, and had good results. So, that inspired me to start with my milsurps.

Taking a close look, both of your grips are for "N" frames. The ones with the diamond are the desirable "Cokes". They were made a little slimmer and shorter than the other pair. They are called...

The .30 WCF stamping stopped about 1950. The serial numbers are stamped on the underside of the receiver.

I'd be interested how it turns out, the bore on mine is pretty rough and I've thought about doing the same for mine.

I have a FN 1924 Mexican carbine like yours. It is a large ring 98 action. It is also an intermediate length action, a little shorter than a standard 98.
No, the mold blocks haven't been modified, and the bullets drop at 242-243gr.
GLL,
Yes, I was looking at this thread and snapped a picture of mine since it was so different from the one you pictured. I don't know how old it is, I bought it used, no box, a year or so ago.
This is my RCBS 44-245-KT. With WW it drops them at .432". I have some loaded up, but I haven't had a chance to see how they shoot.

This is my only one, a 32-20 S&W Model 1905. A neat little gun.

That's a nice one! Those old steel Lyman 66's are desirable, I'd guess $100 or more on e-bay. I'd keep the sight!

I am a fan of the 32 Special. I also like to have some thing a little different, and it gives you a good excuse to get another gun. I haven't done a whole lot of casting for full power loads in...

I had a CZ 527 American 22Hornet, but I sold it a couple of years ago. Mine was bought when they were first introduced and had an overly large chamber. I had to partial size my cases, they looked...
