I Like the 45 Colt but It was not used in a rifle back then!

I sure would like to have one in my hand for a good look see....

I could of used a dozen at that price.

HeliArc is the best way to weld... But for the cost just buy another mold or make your own... Weld shops have a min charge that will exceed the price of the mold.

I started loading in 72 and still use my original Rock Chucker for small quantity loads. I have MEC and Ponsness presses for Shotshells even used the Spolar. I have used ever press you could imagine...

My Suggestion is to send the gun back to Marlin with your complaints... Marlin will work with you. You might even get them to install a barrel with ballard rifling... Marlin has always treated me...

My suggestion is to start casting just practice.. Keep remelting until you have it down pat... If you have a problem as for help and be specific.

I use it in large rifles and all my heavy HOT loads in 12 Gauge.
SR4756 in a Blue Magic or AA with 5 shot is a long range Bird load....

I have used Trailboss in ACP but tightgroup is cheaper... Trailboss is mainly for bulking up the bigger black powder cases so you don't need it in 45 ACP.

CAS & SASS shooters have a new cartridge...

I would make sure they are .452 some of those are .454...
Might lead up easily if there .454's

The name of the boof is Jacketed Performance With Cast Bullets.. If your serious this is a must read....

I have nu first hand knowledge but in all my research from asking friends to all I can read LBT is top notch all the way.
